We are looking for a Tech Lead – AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and full-stack software development to spearhead the development, deployment, and optimization of cutting-edge AI solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll architect scalable systems, mentor engineers, and drive the delivery of intelligent products leveraging advanced traditional ML, GenAI (including LLMs), and MLOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Architect: Design and develop scalable AI/ML platforms and applications across NLP, computer vision, and traditional ML domains.
  • Full Stack Ownership: Take responsibility for full-stack development of AI systems — from backend model logic and APIs to cloud infrastructure and frontend integration (where applicable).
  • AI Strategy & Delivery: Define AI roadmap and technical direction; lead the team in delivering production-ready models and systems.
  • Mentorship & Team Growth: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, promoting best practices in ML engineering, software design, code quality, and DevOps.
  • MLOps & Production Excellence: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML, model monitoring, retraining workflows, and scalable deployments using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical AI solutions and ensure alignment across product and engineering teams.
  • Model Lifecycle Management: Drive the full lifecycle from problem definition, data processing, model training, and evaluation to real-time deployment and feedback loops.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest in ML/AI research, open-source tools, and industry trends to continuously elevate the tech stack.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in software engineering or ML/AI development, with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Programming Proficiency: Expert in Python; solid grasp of software engineering principles, APIs, and scalable architecture.
  • ML Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, etc.
  • GenAI & LLMs: Experience building applications leveraging LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, LangGraph) for NLP tasks like text generation, text summarization, information extraction, chat interfaces.
  • Computer Vision: Experience with image classification, object detection, OCR, and segmentation using CNNs or transformers based model.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Proficient in deploying ML solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure; hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar DevOps tools.
  • MLOps: Deep understanding of production model management, data versioning (e.g., DVC), model tracking (e.g., MLflow), and automated pipelines.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of driving technical initiatives, managing project timelines, and mentoring engineers.
