Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments experience in managing and supporting on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The role includes server and network administration, infrastructure provisioning, troubleshooting Windows, Linux, AWS, and Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure (servers, storage, networks).
- Deploy and manage Windows Server and Linux systems in production environments.
- Perform end-to-end troubleshooting of systems, networks, and cloud resources.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning in AWS and Azure, including VMs, networking, identity, and storage.
- Configure and manage core networking services: DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and routing.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and hybrid identity with Azure AD Connect.
- Support infrastructure migration efforts—on-prem to cloud or between cloud environments.
- Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and system patching strategies are in place.
- Perform regular system health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, provisioning steps, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support antivirus and endpoint security management tools.
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure administration and support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012–2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure core services (compute, network, storage, IAM)
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection tools such as Bitdefender and ThreatLocker for securing servers and user machines.
- Basic knowledge of URL filtering, application whitelisting, and device control policies to restrict unauthorized access and improve security posture.
- Experience in deploying antivirus agents, managing policies, and monitoring alerts for threats and suspicious activity.
- Experience in administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Performed user management tasks such as mailbox creation, license assignment, password resets, and group membership via the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Managed email policies, spam filtering, and mail flow rules using Exchange admin center and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Basic experience with Intune integration for device management and conditional access policies.
- Handled MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) setup and troubleshooting for enhanced security.
- Provided support for end-user issues related to Outlook, Teams, and Office apps.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (subnetting, routing, switching, NAT, VPN)
- Strong troubleshooting skills—hardware, OS, network, and cloud-related issues
- Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions (e.g., Commvault, Azure Backup)
- Understanding of database backup and recovery strategies, including integration with infrastructure-level backup tools.
- Basic experience with GCP is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Certifications are a plus:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- RHCSA or MCSA
