Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Facility Management and ERP systems to support our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our operational processes, managing ERP systems, and driving efficiency within the Facility Management domain. This role will require collaboration across departments, particularly with IT, operations, and vendors, to ensure that our systems and processes are optimized for performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP System Management:
    • Act as a Business Analyst for the ERP system, ensuring it aligns with the needs of the business.
    • Lead and collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration and smooth functioning of the ERP system for Facility Management operations.
    • Gather and prioritize business requirements, create user stories, and define the ERP roadmap to meet business objectives.
  • Facility Management Process Optimization:
    • Analyze current facility management operations (e.g., building maintenance, security, cleaning) and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement and manage processes to optimize resource allocation, vendor management, and maintenance operations.
  • Data Analysis & Business Intelligence (BI):
    • Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze data and generate insights for decision-making related to facility operations.
    • Work with SQL Server to extract, clean, and analyze data to track key metrics and improve operational performance.
  • Vendor and Contract Management:
    • Support the procurement and vendor management process, ensuring that contracts are negotiated and executed according to business needs.
    • Monitor vendor performance and resolve any operational issues to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight:
    • Assist in managing the facility management budget, tracking expenses, and working to optimize cost efficiency.
    • Provide data-driven insights for budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities operations, finance, IT, and vendors, to drive improvements in facility management.
    • Communicate business requirements and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Work closely with the facilities team to ensure that the organization meets safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, compliance, and operational performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in Facility Management or a similar field.
    • Experience working with ERP systems and acting as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
    • Strong background in Business Intelligence (BI) and proficiency with SQL Server for data analysis and reporting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably in a facility management or operations context).
    • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and system requirements.
    • Knowledge of SQL Server for querying and reporting.
    • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for generating actionable insights from data.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Additional Information:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus, especially for managing financials and budgets within the facility management domain.
  • The role may require occasional travel to various facilities for inspections or meetings.
