SQL Support Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SQL Support Engineer to join our team in a Night Shift role. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a keen focus on optimizing database performance. The role requires supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting SQL queries and database issues in a fast-paced environment.

**Note: - This opportunity is Remote (100% work-from-home).

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

•             Excellent communication skills. Candidate must be able to understand American accent.
•             Able to write fast and performant database SQL queries.
•             The candidate should be able to delete, update, truncate, and insert SQL queries.
•             Need strong troubleshooting skills on SQL Server.
•             Should have knowledge of printer and hardware troubleshooting.
•             Should have good experience in SQL support.
•             Candidates should have good knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, debugging stored procedures, Triggers, joins, Aggregate functions, group by , Performance Tunning etc).
•             Debug and troubleshooting issues in database systems, identify the root cause, and implement effective solutions.
•             Optimize SQL queries for performance improvement.
•             Taking ownership of an issue reported and providing the Resolution/Work Around.
•             Follow-up and Resolve Problems/Issues/Defects within SLA.
•             Proficiency and expertise in SQL server Replication, Backup & Recovery, Disaster recovery, and Planning.
•             Should have experience in Ticketing tools.
•             Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

Shift Details:

•             Shift Timing: 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST.
•             This position is for a night shift role, so candidates must be comfortable with working during these hours.
