Experience Required: 3 to 8 Years

- Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing of insurance and broker-related applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate closely with development and project Management teams to understand application functionality and provide feedback on design and implementation.
- Utilize scripting languages to automate test processes and improve testing efficiency.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design review meetings to provide input from a testing perspective.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
- Ability to provide demonstration of functional areas to Business owners.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to document and report testing activities clearly and concisely.
- A proactive approach to identifying potential issues and suggesting improvements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Technical Skills:

 

- Proficiency in using automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
- Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g.Java).
- In-depth knowledge of insurance and broker-related applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
