Job Summary 
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with 8-10 years of experience to build, enhance, maintain, and support real estate, title, settlement, and signing-order workflow platforms. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, custom PHP frameworks, Vue.js/React.js, REST APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, secure integrations, and production application support. 
The ideal resource should not only develop features but also understand the platform deeply, take ownership of support issues independently, perform root cause analysis, improve system stability, and collaborate with stakeholders during US Eastern or Central business hours. Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor will be considered a strong plus.
 
Key Responsibilities 

• Lead development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of web applications used in real estate, title, settlement, signing, notary scheduling, and order management workflows. 

• Architect scalable and secure backend solutions using Laravel, CodeIgniter, custom PHP frameworks, MVC patterns, service layers, queues, schedulers, events, jobs, and reusable modules. 

• Build responsive frontend modules using Vue.js/React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, API-driven UI patterns, and modern UX standards. 

• Develop modules for order intake, order assignment, document exchange, status tracking, notifications, dashboards, reports, client/vendor management, role-based access, and audit trails. 

• Integrate with third-party systems such as title production platforms, CRM systems, notary/vendor networks, email/SMS providers, accounting systems, payment gateways, document management systems, and analytics tools. 

• Take ownership of production support issues independently, including investigation, debugging, fixing, testing, deployment coordination, and closure validation. 

• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term corrective actions instead of temporary fixes. 

• Improve platform reliability, scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and observability through structured engineering practices. 

• Manage Docker-based development environments, Git branching, CI/CD pipelines, release notes, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring. 

• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly for code review, development acceleration, documentation, test generation, debugging, and knowledge discovery while ensuring all AI-generated output is reviewed before use. 

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA teams, operations teams, and client stakeholders to convert business workflows into reliable technical solutions. 

• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, enforce standards, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to support runbooks and knowledge base articles. 

 
Required Technical Skills 

• Backend Engineering: PHP 8+, Laravel, CodeIgniter, custom PHP frameworks, MVC architecture, Composer, Eloquent/ORM concepts, middleware, queues, jobs, schedulers, events, REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and authorization. 

• Frontend Engineering: Vue.js and/or React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based UI development, responsive layouts, form-heavy workflows, API integration, frontend validation, and performance optimization. 

• Database Skills: MySQL/PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations, transactions, data integrity, reporting queries, and troubleshooting database performance issues. 

• API and Integration Skills: REST API design, API documentation, OAuth/JWT, webhook handling, idempotency, retries, error handling, third-party API troubleshooting, and integration monitoring. 

• DevOps and Environments: Docker, Git/GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, Linux basics, environment configuration, release management, logs, monitoring, and rollback awareness. 

• Security: OWASP awareness, secure coding, role-based permissions, MFA-aware workflows, document access controls, audit logging, encryption concepts, and secure handling of sensitive transaction data. 

• Testing and Quality: Unit/integration testing awareness, regression testing support, debugging tools, code review discipline, documentation, production validation, and support handover readiness. 

• AI Tooling: Practical exposure to Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI/LLM APIs, prompt writing, AI-assisted testing, code explanation, and responsible AI usage.
