Experience Required: 5 to 13 Years

We are seeking an experienced Epicor CMS EDI Specialist to support and enhance enterprise EDI operations, trading partner onboarding, and system integrations. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Epicor CMS EDI, including the ability to independently configure and manage trading partner setups. Experience with IBM i (IBMi/AS400) is highly preferred, and familiarity with Seeburger is considered a strong advantage.
This role will work closely with business users, customers, suppliers, and trading partners to ensure reliable EDI communications, seamless integrations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, and enhance Epicor CMS EDI environments.
  • Configure and onboard new trading partners, including EDI setup, mapping, testing, and production deployment.
  • Manage EDI transactions and troubleshoot integration issues across customers, suppliers, and third-party systems.
  • Analyze business requirements and implement EDI solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support EDI communications using AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP, and related B2B protocols.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Perform EDI mapping, data validation, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor day-to-day EDI operations and provide production support.
  • Maintain documentation, configuration records, and support procedures.
  • Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and integration projects.
Required Skills
  • Must have strong Epicor CMS EDI experience.
  • Proven experience setting up and managing Trading Partners.
  • Strong knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and EDI mapping.
  • Experience with EDI communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTP.
  • Knowledge of EDI transaction processing, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Experience with B2B integrations and managed file transfer processes.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with IBM i (IBMi/AS400) environment.
  • Experience with Seeburger EDI platform.
  • Experience with EDI translation and integration tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application integrations and system interfaces.
