Role Summary 

This role of Senior APEX Developer will be the primary technical lead. Design and build all APEX pages, PL/SQL integration logic, REST API connections to OCI AI services, APEX Automations, and background processing jobs. You will work closely with the OCI Architect (Phase 1) and OCI/ML Engineer (Phase 2) to ensure the AI service responses are correctly parsed, validated, and persisted into the ERP database. You must be comfortable with full-stack APEX development — from UI to database. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Build APEX pages for invoice upload, receipt capture, order review queues, warehouse scan UI, and forecasting dashboard 

• Write PL/SQL procedures to call OCI REST APIs using APEX_WEB_SERVICE and parse JSON responses with APEX_JSON and JSON_TABLE 

• Configure APEX Credentials Store with OCI API keys, tenancy OCID, and fingerprint for secure authentication 

• Implement APEX Automations and DBMS_SCHEDULER jobs for background batch processing 

• Integrate OCI Object Storage using DBMS_CLOUD.PUT_OBJECT and pre-authenticated requests (PARs) for file staging 

• Build human-in-the-loop review and confirmation flows with confidence score highlighting 

• Develop APEX Interactive Reports for discrepancy tracking, order review queues, and stock count results 

• Implement APEX PWA configuration for the mobile warehouse stock-count module in Phase 2 

• Write unit tests and support QA lead during UAT with test data preparation 

• Produce technical documentation for all integrations built 

Must-Have Skills & Experience 

• 6+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development (APEX 21.x or later) 

• Strong PL/SQL skills — procedures, packages, exception handling, bulk operations 

• Experience calling external REST APIs from APEX using APEX_WEB_SERVICE 

• JSON parsing experience using APEX_JSON or Oracle DB native JSON_TABLE / JSON_VALUE 

• Experience with DBMS_CLOUD or Oracle Object Storage integration 

• Understanding of APEX security: credential stores, network ACLs, CORS configuration 

• Oracle DB 19c or later — solid understanding of scheduler jobs and background processing 

Good to Have 

• Prior experience integrating with OCI AI services (Document Understanding, Vision, Language) 

• APEX PWA development experience (service workers, offline capability, camera API) 

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) REST adapters 

• Familiarity with APEX 23.x Universal Theme and low-code components 

• Any exposure to supply chain or inventory management ERP modules
