We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior AWS Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services. With 10+ years of hands-on experience, you will serve as the primary technical authority on cloud architecture, guiding cross-functional teams through complex migrations, modernizations, and greenfield implementations.

• Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design of scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-optimized architectures on AWS for mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Migration & Modernization: Architect and oversee large-scale cloud migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-architecting) and legacy application modernization to cloud-native services.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the go-to technical advisor for engineering teams, product owners, and C-suite stakeholders on AWS best practices, design patterns, and emerging services.
• Well-Architected Reviews: Conduct AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews and drive remediation of identified risks across security, reliability, performance, cost, and operational excellence pillars.
• Security & Compliance: Design and enforce cloud security architectures including IAM policies, VPC design, encryption strategies, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• DevOps & Automation: Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Drive CI/CD pipeline design and GitOps adoption.
• Cost Optimization: Implement FinOps strategies, monitor cloud spend, and architect solutions that balance performance with cost efficiency using Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot Instances.
• Mentorship: Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level architects and engineers on cloud-native design principles and AWS services.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with AWS account teams, third-party vendors, and internal business units to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
• Documentation: Produce high-quality architecture decision records (ADRs), solution design documents, runbooks, and technical roadmaps.

• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture with a strong focus on AWS.
• Deep expertise across core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale, multi-account, multi-region AWS environments.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, load balancing, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience implementing security best practices including Zero Trust, encryption at rest/in transit, secrets management, and compliance automation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• AWS Professional-level certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
• Additional certifications: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP) in addition to AWS.
• Background in data engineering services: Redshift, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, EMR, or Lake Formation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services on AWS: SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, and Recognition.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or government.
• Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
