Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Domain Trainer to design and deliver training programs on manufacturing fundamentals, processes, supply chain, quality, compliance, and IT systems. The role enables technology teams, analysts, and business professionals to understand end-to-end manufacturing workflows and systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training on:
    • Manufacturing Fundamentals: Industry overview, discrete vs process, production models, value chain, KPIs.
    • Core Processes: PLM, BOM, routing, scheduling, shop floor control.
    • Supply Chain & Inventory: Procurement, inventory types, forecasting, warehouse, logistics.
    • Quality & Compliance: QMS, audits, ISO standards, Six Sigma basics, regulatory compliance.
    • IT Systems: ERP (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics), MES, SCADA, IIoT, data integration.
  • Create case studies, process diagrams, and reference guides.
  • Translate complex concepts into practical, application-oriented content.
  • Incorporate industry trends, compliance updates, and digital manufacturing practices.
  • Conduct assessments and recommend upskilling paths.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams; act as domain consultant.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in manufacturing operations, supply chain, quality, and IT systems.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and basics of SCADA/IIoT.
  • Proven training and facilitation skills; ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Experience: 6+ years in manufacturing domain; 2+ years in training/consulting.
  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related.
  • Preferred certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, APICS CPIM/CSCP.
