Sr. Tableau Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to lead the design and development of advanced dashboards and analytics solutions. This role involves architecting BI solutions, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Tableau, data modeling, and enterprise BI architecture, along with strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Architect data visualization strategies aligned with business goals.
• Integrate Tableau with multiple data sources (SQL Server, Snowflake, cloud platforms).
• Implement advanced calculations, parameters, and dynamic dashboards.
• Optimize dashboards for scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and business metrics.
• Drive data governance, security policies, and compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior Tableau developers and analysts.
• Work closely with data engineering teams for ETL and data preparation.
• Manage version control, deployment pipelines, and environment setup (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Stay current with Tableau best practices, new features, and BI trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Tableau development and BI solutions.
• Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data visualization.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security (RLS, SSO).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python/R for advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and project management.
• Exposure to embedded analytics and API integration.
