We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition for IT services by identifying and qualifying leads in targeted verticals such as Insurance, Transportation, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Consumer Goods.
Leverage industry relationships and consultative selling strategies to build and maintain a robust pipeline.
Own the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including:
Cold outreach and in-person prospecting
Discovery meetings and presentations to C-level stakeholders
Develop strong, long-term client relationships that foster repeat business and referrals.
Create compelling, client-specific value propositions aligned with their business goals and challenges.
Collaborate closely with delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams to craft winning solutions.
Monitor key sales metrics, analyze win/loss data, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and overall performance.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in IT services sales with a successful track record of selling into US and/or Europe regions.
Previous experience working with IT services companies offering solutions similar to Programmers.io (custom app development, legacy system modernization, support services, etc.).
Proven experience in solution selling and navigating complex sales cycles with mid-to-large enterprise clients.
Strong hunter mindset – skilled in identifying new business opportunities, cold calling, and lead nurturing.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially with C-suite executives.
Expertise in building and presenting customized value propositions that combine both products and services.
Demonstrated success in working with verticals such as Insurance, Transportation, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Consumer industries.
Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and sales activities.
