Job Description: Senior Cloud IT Support Engineer 

 

Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud IT Support Engineer with strong network and VPN expertise to join our team. As a key member of our cloud-based IT infrastructure, you'll be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining a secure and efficient cloud environment. Based at Hyderabad and Jaipur.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud and Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of our cloud-based IT infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and VPN components.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud platforms (O365, Azure, Entra, MDM), applications, networks, and VPN connections.
  • Network and VPN Configuration: Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches), VPN solutions, and firewall (Checkpoint) rules to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices (EDR, Bitdefender, ThreatLocker, Intune, Entra)  including vulnerability management, incident response, and data protection in a remote work environment.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts using tools like Azure Logic App, PowerShell, or Python to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Remote Support: Provide effective remote support to employees working from home, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and VPN issues.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT Support Engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality services.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

 

Qualifications:00

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a technical support or systems administration role, with a focus on cloud environments, networking, and VPN technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with remote users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or Azure certifications, as well as network security certifications (e.g., CCNP Security).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Azure Automation, PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
