Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to create responsive and user-friendly websites.
  • Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including debugging code and fixing bugs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and WordPress updates.
  • Implement and manage e-commerce solutions using WooCommerce or similar platforms.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
  • Conduct website audits and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with MySQL databases and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and theme frameworks.
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with website hosting and server management.
  • Relevant certifications in web development or WordPress.
