The Challenge

The client's billing system for generating invoices was based entirely on a manual process. As they grew, this process became much less sustainable and began to bog down their IT team with excess work.

When a bill was generated, different departments within the company were required to provide the IT department with the customer information in order to send the bill through. The IT team would then run a set of SQL queries and programs to create the required invoices.

This methodology proved to be inefficient and susceptible to errors, especially considering the size, billing, and IT needs of the company. The rising costs of errors and impractical use of time could no longer be ignored.

Bulk Invoice Creation

We provided a bulk invoice creation option and outfitted the process with error reporting to smooth out discrepancies. Through re-creating past invoices, the Client was able to standardize how their data was presented.

The Client wanted to be able to sort invoices by date, type of customer, and a list of other requested KPI’s. We utilized our AI-enabled iA product analysis tool to thoroughly analyze their data and requirements, allowing us to create this solution in just 1 month.

To eliminate the need for manual intervention from their IT team, we created the menu option for creating the invoices for required customers and dates. Now anyone with access can create invoices as they need them.
